Planning a school or group camp?   Discover the Camp COORIEMUNGLE Experience!!

Our mission is to deliver a recreational experience of the highest quality, in a fun and safe environment suitable for all ages.

Our Program Directors will assist you with development and conduct of your program and activities, especially our adventure activities which require one of our highly trained activity staff members to be on hand to instruct. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and safety with an emphasis on team building. We provide group leaders and teachers with all instructions for all activities, whether conducted by our staff or the group leaders and teachers.

Our programs are specific to the requirements of your group and will vary according to the needs of the group, the length of time involved, and number of participants within the group.

The team is highly professional, friendly and we will do everything we can to see your needs are met. The activities are adventurous, exciting and well supervised. We will work with you to create the perfect itinerary for your group.

Our staff are there to ensure you have the most rewarding time possible. Depending on your requirements we have activities focused on fun or on adventure. Why not combine them both for a great program!

To run our programs smoothly and efficiently, our requirement is that:

  • A Camp Cooriemungle staff member will be in charge of all adventure activities such as Canoeing, High Ropes, Giant Swing, Commando and Climbing Wall and a senior member of your group will be required to assist.
  • All other activities may be conducted by a leader from the group with all necessary instruction and equipment provided by Camp Cooriemungle staff prior to the activity.
  • On the checklist (hyperlink to checklist sample) provided to participants it is recommended that all are made aware of the need for the correct footwear for all activities, I.e. Lace up runners, not thongs or slip on shoes,
  • It is also strongly recommended that participants are made aware that long hair needs to be tied back, and clothing worn should be suitable for adventure activities as participants will be wearing safety harnesses. Long hair and inappropriate clothing can impede the safe and smooth operation of these activities.

The above is discussed further in the welcome to Camp Cooriemungle briefing.
